I use an integration of Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy in order to explore how past experiences, both personally and on a wider societal level, can influence feelings and behaviour in your current life.
I'm a fully trained counselling psychotherapist and I offer private individual therapy on an ongoing or short-term basis, either face to face or online. I am trained in the Psychodynamic method and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and use an integration of these ideas to best help you. It can be difficult to find a space to reflect and I offer a secure, non-judgemental, confidential environment, where together we can find that space for you. I am experienced in counselling clients from diverse backgrounds with their concerns.
I am very patient and understand that taking that first step towards counselling and beginning to make changes can be very difficult and I will support you through this process.
I am very experienced in the issues facing our community; family, relationships and the wider issues of being a happy member of the LGBTQ+ population in an often hostile world.
What to expect when you contact me: Firstly we'll have a brief chat on the phone or by email to discuss your concerns and arrange a time and day for your initial assessment. At this assessment, you will have space to talk about what has brought you to therapy and ask any questions about the process. The most important thing is that you feel confident we can work together. We will then decide together how long you'd like counselling for and agree a weekly or fortnightly appointment.
I am based in Covent Garden, Central London, within easy access from Tottenham Court Road, Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations. Please visit my website for more details.
